25 years in 5 Points. And we're still not leaving.
My family has lived in 5 Points for 25 years. I grew up here, and somewhere along the way I realized — I never wanted to leave. This isn't a neighborhood I discovered. It's the one I'm from.
I could have left. Most people do leave the town they grew up in. But somewhere along the way, I realized 5 Points has everything I'd ever want from a place to live — historic charm, walkable streets, the mountain right there, restaurants we'd brag about to anyone, and the kind of neighbors who actually know your name. It's the center of the city. And it's home.
So Nathan and I stayed. And these days, we explore our own neighborhood the way we love it best — by golf cart. Coffee in hand, no rushing. We ride to the coffee shop on Pratt. We ride to dinner downtown. We ride to the trailhead at Oak Park. Our errands and our date nights have turned into little tours of our own neighborhood.
"It's the easiest place to fall in love with. Eat, wellness, downtown fun, coffee shops, the mountain, the parks, amazing restaurants — and the heart of the city. We drive our golf cart everywhere."
This site is everything I know, written down. It's not a tourism brochure. It's not a real estate pitch. It's 25 years of living somewhere, distilled into a guide I wish my friends had before they moved here — so I'm making it free for anyone who wants it.
Our baby blue cart parked in front of Southside Cocktails — one of our favorite spots in the neighborhood.
And one day, this becomes the business. I'm not a realtor yet — but I will be. When that day comes, I want to be the person who helps the next generation of 5 Points neighbors find their home here. Until then, I'm just doing what I've always done: paying attention to this place, and sharing what I see.

Buying or selling in 5 Points one day?
25 years here means I know every street, every porch, and what makes one house different from the one next door. I'm not a realtor yet — but I will be. Get on the list now, and I'll send one email when it's real. That's it.
